Look, I know you work your BACKSIDE off!
I after all did it myself for 8years in 4 countries... yet somehow your efforts are just NOT bringing in the kind of money you hoped it would, or perhaps the numbers that you were pitched by Suzie or John during the recruitment process is not quite what is realistically coming forth, right?
Many company managers (often on a cushy salary and/or overrides) all post these
“Rha, Rha, Rha, go-go-go, winners don't lose, losers don't win, whoo-hoo” motivational type videos-, the staff appear happy and content (at least at the time of recording the video), perhaps there’s beer or pizza, birthday cakes even on the photo-op display…I mean it
seems that people around you are trying for the most part, right?!
Don’t get me wrong, I am not dogging anyone…there are some INCREDIBLE and really nice people and awesome companies out there who get it
RIGHT, but is any of the above often-theatre stuff really contributing to your bank account?
So, what is the problem then, is it…YOU??
Apart from the often publicly paraded façade by some of the more supposedly "larger-than-life" type firms, the simple and basic truth for many out there is this:-
That proverbial regional business "PIE" out there is only SO big guys and gals…you get that right? If you're regionally restricted with regards to lead generation, well...then unfortunately that's even WORSE for you.
Let me ask you this: How many people and competitors in your city do you think are fighting for a slice of that same local PIE? In some jurisdictions, the answer is, well….a LOT,
reeaaally a LOT !
So, if that’s the case…what kind of rookie slice are you perhaps expecting? Are your expectations realistic? Yes / No ?
Sure, if like me you have 29K+ targeted industry LinkedIn connections built up since 2009 and you’ve been on social media since just about before the internet came online and ROCK at it, then
fine, have at it...otherwise, you perhaps need to be in a place where you can pace things a bit, perhaps drastically reduce your cost of living and expenses while developing your professional strategy and online presence? Just a thought…
It's MUCH tougher for new folks in this game than ever before, especially with increased regulation and laws of late. Even for some of the more experienced industry veterans-, many of whom are not officially qualified...its NOT like 10yrs ago when companies just about fell over themselves rolling out the red carpet for you...remember those times?
Look, its not easy -- this profession is not for those who don’t want to get their hands dirty, BUT it’s become a lot harder and so one has to evolve, wise up, get appropriately credentialed and keep up with changes and the times.
So what should YOU do??
Well, let's put it this way....if your current job got as exciting and motivational as watching a movie about a dogs anus opening and closing (sorry, saw that posted somewhere...nearly killed myself laughing!!)...do you just give up and quit after all that training, expenses and preparation coming from the UK perhaps? Perhaps for the more experienced guys: You’ve been around the block a few times, and have just NOT found the right fit...
Look jokes aside, I get it...you don’t want to seemingly look like you're hopping around from employer to employer every few months, but then putting a plaster on a broken arm is not going to work either…so what to do?!
Well, it goes without saying, but there is a difference between quitting and walking away to fight another day, and
that is where we come in.
Be wise and consider your options...it’s a BIG world out there and we have great options. Leave the selling-YOU part to me, I know what I'm doing and more and more company folks get to see that I kinda know what I'm talking about.
No matter how special you might feel you are, some of the biggest companies out there all have a recruitment quota to fill. In-house recruiter Suzie Chandelier and/or John Blogs have their recruitment mandate, they have quotas to meet and seats to fill, and their job is to fill those seats because they get paid to do just that.
We on the other hand, don’t work for anyone. In fact, we get to decide who we want to work with or not, candidates and companies alike. I work with only the best wealth management firms out there and they have to tick my checkboxes as well.
I look at their response time, demeanor, communication style, how they pay…all is used to determine whether I want to work with someone, or continue to do so based also on candidate feedback etc. All is based on personal, on the ground experience
That all said,
let us help you find you the right outfit where you can breathe
and grow in what is probably one of the best paying professions in the world.
...and breathing is NOT you hyperventilating because the rent of your Dubai apartment is due-, or because that pension transfer or whatever deal is seemingly taking FOREVER and a day to come off! For others, that retainer / debt- trap you signed on for in good faith which seems to be breathing down your neck is not helping either!
Right, let’s wrap up.
Why speak to us?
I mean, the question should be, why the heck NOT!?
My service to you is free, there’s no strings attached and we're not going to waste each others time.
No matter WHO you are, we get to see everything out there with an objective, unbiased and very enviable birds-eye view…and we’re very good at what we do.
Come to think of it, I can’t think of a single reason why you would NOT want to speak in confidence and perhaps consider a positive change...but hey, that’s me and it’s your life and future, so you decide.
I always say that I’m not here to comfort the disturbed, but to disturb the comfortable. You might very well be quite “OK” where you are right now, but who knows what you might be missing out on…and the only way to know, is to explore.
We’re here for you, so I welcome all inquiries and questions as always.
Its been a long read as we go into the weekend, and if you made it through it ALL, well done and I do appreciate your time this Friday!
